Based in Tikipunga, on the edge of Whangarei, our workshop has been turning native New Zealand timber into heirloom-quality toys since 2015. As a small toy manufacturer and woodworker, every piece — from our wooden trucks and cars to trains, planes and kitchenware — starts as a rough length of Kauri, Rimu or Macrocarpa before it's shaped, sanded, and finished by hand.
We don't outsource or mass-produce. Each toy that leaves our Tikipunga workshop has been made and checked by us personally, which is part of why Montessori schools and eco-conscious families across New Zealand keep coming back. Wood grain, weight, and finish vary slightly from piece to piece — that's not a flaw, it's the mark of something actually handmade rather than stamped out on a factory line.
